As a member of the Boulder Rural Fire Protection District Board of Directors for nearly a decade—serving in every position, including Board President—he’s been in the trenches of fire governance. From collective bargaining and chief hiring processes to strategic planning and executive coaching, Tom has led through the kinds of high-stakes decisions that shape the future of fire agencies. Combined with his 30+ years in leadership development and executive coaching, he offers a perspective that bridges operational understanding with strategic insight.
